shelf update:
took about 8 hours to drill and adjust and vacuum (the vacuum at one point gave up, gonna have to clean its filters tomorrow), buuuuuut all of the shelves are up!! yippee :3
that's 15 shelves with 2 concrete anchors each, owie... there's not a muscle that doesn't hurt
<object /> is full of brick dust! at least it wore proper dust mask + goggles
(is this what all the dronegirls are into? :3)

picture of it adjusting a shelf, with 16 other shelves already mounted to the wall.
about half of the shelves are still empty. some of the things contained in the other half are:
camera equipment and lenses, pens and stationary;
vinyls put into a gap between two shelves;
books sitting atop the top shelves;
arts and crafts materials (e.g. wood, acrylic, ...);
a bunch of different types of accessories (bracelets, rings, ...);
playing cards, tarot cards;
nintendo switch games + some amiibo;
labeled boxes with stickers in them.
the floor is covered in many polypropylene boxes with things presumably meant for going into the empty shelves.

there are several distinct spikes:
a small one around 13:00, and two very big ones around 17:00 and 19:00
